The small-scale plant bridges the gap between the kilo laboratory and launch plant, making it possible to manufacture batches for pre-clinical studies and clinical trials and has access to all of Lonza’s technologies and complete range process development services. The plant operates under full cGMP standards and allows rapid technical transfer to Lonza’s launch plant, also in Visp, Switzerland.
